[Freetype] Memory leak in FT_New_Face()

I have stumbled upon what appears to be a memory leak in FT_New_Face().
The problem occurs when the name of a zero-length file is passed.  This
is with FreeType 2.0.1 as shipped with Red Hat 7.1.

Before I go off and possibly trash my whole system by trying to upgrade
to 2.0.2, can anyone tell me if this is a known bug?
