Hi Anand,
I remember lm-sensors team was talking about writing a wrapper for
ipmi module. Don't know how far they succeeded.
lm-sensors functionality is a subsystem of IPMI. Not the other way.

BTW, FreeIPMI alpha4-qa0 public QA release will happen today. I will
include you in the release notification list. SE7501WV2 is also
supported.

Yesterday, I had a presentation and training on
"FreeIPMI and complete headless remote platform management"
for Synopsys. May be you can fly down to Fremont when ever you are
free to get trained on our new free software packages like sensors,
bmc-config, biosconfig, ...

| Hi AB,
|
| Was wondering... does lm_sensors work with the SE7501WV2 at all..?
| Would you know..?
|
| Our existing clusters' monitoring utilities are lm_sensors based,
| and want to see if those same tools can be used as-is with the new
| clusters as well.
|
| Thanks.
