Just saw another issue, your:
int ipmi_lan_pre_session_chksum_test (void *lan_pkt, u_int64_t lan_pkt_len);
int ipmi_lan_chksum_test (void *lan_pkt, u_int64_t lan_pkt_len);
Functions are incorrect. They test only 1 of the chksums. There are
two chksum values in each packet. Take a look at my ipmi-msg-cmds.h
checksum macros.
