[Pnet-developers] Extended Console

Hello,

I've been looking for a cross-platform GNU Readline but I see that you have 
something similar; DotGNU.Terminal.Readline.

I've taken a look and it seems to work very well.  I've looked at the code and 
it refers to something called CONFIG_EXTENDED_CONSOLE.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is this extended console?  Is it 
something in the EMCA standard?
