It works! Six days of learning about SWF, the message loops, X and 
Win32, toolkits, the hierarchy, the threading system, etc. etc. etc. and 
one day of actual coding, I have a final patch that implements SWF 
Control::BeginInvoke, Control::EndInvoke and Control::Invoke on X and Win32.
