Problem solved although not quite understood. I had an incorrect device
setting in the audio sink block and leaving the entry blank (default)
solved the problem. The libusb warning was a red herring and I haven't
been able to find out where it came from. So, limeSDR with PyBOMBS
works (and on opensuse leap 15.1).
