Hi Kerry,
I'm including the usrp-users mailing list [1], because this is pretty
unrelated to GNU Radio.
It's probably your network manager changing the IP address. How to fix
that depends on your distribution, but usually, right clicking on the
"network" symbol in your system bar, "edit connections...", add a
connection with the static IP address and selecting it later with a left
click on your network symbol should do the trick.
