Tom and I are trying to work out how to solve this in a more general way so it doesn't require as many individual edits to Makefile.am linker flags definitions in the different places the problem occurs. Part of the delay as well is for me to setup the appropriate test environment to both verify the problem and regression test the fixes.
OK, thats fine. No problem. I'm happy. No pressure! :-)My patch did allow for a complete package build from the debian package in git.gag.com based on the 3.3.1 branch. I'm not sure what was done before i attempted to build an updated debian package. (I still need to diff the git from gag.com with the 3.3.1 tag branch of gnuradio, there are some changes that haven't been applied to upstream yet).
I still have some python binding problems that need to be solved. I will try to work on that soon. Maybe i can find a way to backport only the linking fixes to 3.3.1-debian.
