I would connect to Matt's question to ask about ground loops. Sometimes, when the USRP is connected to the antenna outside and I insert the DC plug, I see sparkles on the ground shield of the plug, when it touches the enclosure. I decided to connect the PC and other devices to a common GND, but I don't see any way to ground the USRP box. Would you recommend to create a external GND connection point on the USRP enclosure? Thanks Alberto
The power supply is isolated. The shield on your coax is connected to the USRP ground.
