Thank you for your response.
1. Ubuntu 8.10 32bit and Ubuntu 8.04 64 bit
2. No VM
3. Built and installed 3.1.3 (tar.gz)
4. usrp_rx_cfile does not overrun (!)
5. I do not know what "FUSB method" means, but I like the sounds of it.
Looking it up now.
