Earlier USRPs don't have a fan connector.  Cut the connector off of the
fan cable.  Solder the black wire to J1001, which is ground on the
board.  Solder the red wire to the pin on the end of the power supply
connector.  The fan will be a little loud since this is 6.3V on a fan
rated for 4-7V.  You can put a 10 or 12 ohm resistor in line on the red
wire if you want it to be quieter.
