A quick note: Common FCC allowed practice in AM broadcast is positive
modulation
with peaks to 125% with negative peaks not exceeding 100%.
Low end frequency response of modern transmitters is 50Hz @ -1dB referred to
400Hz or 1kHz. Some go to 30Hz easily.
I believe things are a bit different for C-Quam AM stereo where the L-R
information
is phase modulated on the carrier, thereby limiting negative modulation to
less than
100% to prevent carrier cut off.
