[Debian-sf-users] new install no logins?

Hello Folks,

 

I am a new installer of sourceforge 2.6 I've gotten everything installed with no errors, I've been able to find out how to modifiy the content etc etc.. However I have setup a user for myself and setup a project for that user, I've manually run

/usr/lib/sourceforge/bin/update-user-group-cvs.sh and was able to su to that user, the users shell is /bin/bash when i slapcat | more. however I cannot ftp or SSH to the machine, I only get password errors. can anone point me in the right direction to fix this ?
