Not really. That sounds strange. Are you sure nothing happens?
The fact that you can log in is a good indicator that at least one
script is run.

Nothing. SSH works, this is the normal behaviour. What you see is
a message coming from your shell. By default, your shell is
/bin/cvssh, which is restricting you to only use the cvs and scp
commands. If you want a full-blown unrestricted shell, change it from
your site admin page (edit a user, you'll see a menu giving you choice
of shells).

If you have followed the instructions, then you should have a nice
sourceforge_2.5-30+_all.deb file. This is the Debian package. To
install it, run "dpkg -i sourceforge_2.5-30+_all.deb", that should be
it. Be sure to report any errors if they happen, but current CVS
should be rather stable.
