I have the same problem.  Also, CVS and FTP are not working currently,
but I _hope_ that is a configuration problem on my end...

I installed sf 2.6.08 on my woody box and it seems ok
but I found that "Site News" at the left part does not
work.

I did submit some test news but if I click
"Approve Site News" after submitting news, it does not
show the news that I just submitted. It says:

No Queued Items Found
No rejected items found for this week
No approved items found for this week

But as the "admin", "My Personal Page" tells that
"There are 3 news bytes awaiting review."

If I click the review, I still cannot see the news as above.


It did work on 2.5.26....Anyone encountered this so far?
