Project: classpath-tools
Submitted by: Arnaud Vandyck
On: jeu 27.11.2003 at 07:42
Category: None
Priority: 5 - Normal
Resolution: Applied
Privacy: Public
Assigned to: avdyk
Originator Email:
Status: Closed
Summary: Reassigned item: property field not initializes in SerialFieldTagImpl
Original Submission: Looks like this is necessary to add to the file since
otherwise the field+= <somechar> gives strange results like "null<somechar>".
But discussion this with Arnaud on irc also revealed a bug in kjc/kaffe for
concatenating null strings. See
http://www.kaffe.org/pipermail/kaffe/2003-November/044458.html
Arnaud could you try compiling with jikes and report the results?

The three patches I submitted has been compiled with kjc (two or three times)
AND with jikes (the rest of the time! ;)) without any problem.
