Hi Mark,

Do  you   have  the  latest  debian   gnujaxp  package  (libgnujaxp-java
0.0.cvs20030915-2)?  These   problems  should  be   resolved  with  this
version. 

If not, you can fill a bug against gnujaxp (at Savannah or at Debian).
