No, I didn't know that. Can you point me to the tools
and their documentation? A google search returns a lot
of hits for xml+texinfo, but I'm not sure what exactly
you are referring to. Are you speaking of docbook2x?
In case you already looked at this model, can you say
if it supports table-like constructs? Problem is, if
you have a Javadoc comment containing HTML table code,
it would be nice to have this translated to Info
properly (i.e. producing a nicely formatted table in
the Info output.) As you cannot achieve this using
XSLT (no ASCII layout support), the xml->info processor
would need to care about this translation. Same goes
for <ul>/<li> tags, <pre> tags etc.
