In the first place, thanks for your trust. I wouldn't abuse it.

I'd be glad to accept your offer if you could just give me a very
limited ("tamper-proof", if there is such a thing) account which just
allows me to prepare stuff in my home directory, and perhaps give me
read access to some VM and the Classpath tree. When it gets down to
modifying crontab (which obviously requires root permissions), we can
talk again.

But please do not give me an account that would allow me to do things
I could later be held responsible for. No, I'm not a manic cracker
who must tamper with everything he gets access to. I just don't want
to have more responsibility than necessary, on your server. Thanks!

Fine! Never worked on a SS10 so I don't know if it perhaps performs like
an 68000? Just kidding. But given the network speed (limited to 128kbps
upstream on both sides, I assume) even that probably wouldn't hurt ;)

Though I can predict that generating docs for the full Classpath tree,
perhaps even in two output formats (Info/HTML) will require a good
deal of resources. What memory sticks are in there?
Needless to ask: the machine is running Linux isn't it?

Julian
