Ok, unsetting http_proxy works! billards is now running on my ubuntu machine.
Thanks for the info!
I am not sure I understand this, however, should I be setting CERTI_HTTP_PROXY to the same as http_proxy? or do I have to unset http_proxy each time I run a federate. What is the "correct" way to deal with proxy settings/environment variables? something like
export CERTI_HTTP_PROXY=$http_proxy

The menu driven launch does not seem to work for the federates, but if I open command windows and start the federates, it appears to work. Maybe; I am still studying the result to see if it makes any sense. > > > > > > > -- > > CERTI-Devel mailing list > > address@hidden > > https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/certi-devel > > > > >
