You are talking of RPR-FOM right?

Yes using RPR-FOM is a good option, we did begin with an handcrafted
fed file but we may
switch to a standard FOM.

In both case we "just" need a map file which map simulation tool
specific name (FlightGear, XPlane) to
the chosen HLA SOM.

We could imagine a nice multi-site demo :=)

The certi mailing list is low-level so I think it can stand some
loosely off-topic discussion.
If we need more interested stakeholder may send private e-mail.

We may even arrange phone conference call.
