sh-utils 2.0.11 build error (expr, regex.h: __restrict_arr undeclared)

From: Cgweav
Subject: sh-utils 2.0.11 build error (expr, regex.h: __restrict_arr undeclared)
Date: Wed, 3 Apr 2002 12:30:01 EST

linux-2.2.21pre_rc2 (plus updated 2.4.x zlib fix from kernel list)
glibc-2.1.3 (plus security patches, bug fixes)
gcc-2.91.66
binutils-2.9.1.0.25
make-3.79.1

Error message:

In file included from expr.c:36:
../lib/regex.h:539: `__restrict_arr' undeclared here (not in a function)
../lib/regex.h:540: warning: parameter has incomplete type
make[2]: *** [expr.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/sh-utils-2.0.11/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/sh-utils-2.0.11'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

I see this error when ./configure is passed either "--with-included-regex" or "--without-included-regex" (the error is also insensitive to
"--disable-nls").
