Using Linux Redhat 5.2 OS, however this email coming via Windows 98
and Netscape.
Problem occurred in Linux with booting statements: "x" spawning too
fast ; can,t find UTMP file ; can.t create /var/run/xdm.pid ; can,t
create pid ana lock files .
Also when trying to print: can,t create /var/spool/lpd/myprinter/.seq
. When trying rpm -q package name no response.
Also dial-in for Internet hookup no work. find seq gave no
file/directory exists.
If failure or loss of seq file is problem, how do I obtain workink seq

file?
