Perhaps for some programs, but I think not for GNU tar.  Having
multiple bug-report addresses makes it harder for users to submit bug
reports correctly, and it therefore complicates things for the
maintainers somewhat.

If we were being inundated by translation bug reports it might be a
different matter.  But as things stand I think it's easier for us to
forward these bug reports than to deal with having multiple bug-report
addresses.
