i tried it again with rcs 5.9.4 taken from Fedora Core 32 and the build process with 51 tests didn’t throw any errors.

Hello rcs bugkeepers,

 

I’m trying to build rcs on CentOS 8. I’m using the Fedora 34 src RPM package rcs-5.10.0-2.fc34 that contains rcs-5.10.0.

The error message I am getting is:

 

FAIL: t790

I had a look and here’s the contents of rcs-5.10.0/tests/t790.d/out:

 

rcsclean: warning: redefinition of -k option

rm -f y

PROBLEM: cwd not readable, but rcsclean did not fail

 

 

I’m using Linux 4.18.0 and the filesystem is xfs.

 

Is this a known issue? Do you need anything else from me?
