USER should be fine. The only readonly env variable is LOGNAME

address@hidden:[/etc/security/aixpert/core]readonly
LOGNAME=michael

USER has also been set - somewhere - to michael

   In AIX it should be an error if LOGNAME is not readonly

So, under AIX what is the recommended env var to set to
influence a command's concept of "user"?  Is ‘USER’ ok?
