In that case could I suggest a new feature:

rcs -Orange

   As rcs -o, but the revision following 'range' gets its log message
updated to include the outdated revisions' logs, in date order.  So
the log message describes all changes between that revision and the
one before it.

I may implement this feature myself but I don't plan to do it
immediately.  Does it sound like a good idea, though?
