I have check this on seven different architectures, including
Debian GNU/Linux, Debian GNU/kFreeBSD, and Arch Linux with
kernel 3.6.11-1-ARCH. Not a single one of them is able to
reproduce a core dump, in spite of repeated runs.
Please, try to narrow the setting more closely.
The printout seems to indicate a double free issue.
Would you go to the trouble of inserting some
printf statements at select places? My guess
is concerns argument globbing and macro handling.
