I just noticed this issue too (with 1.4.2) and Peter's proposed fix
also works for me. I see it hasn't been committed to CVS yet though?
I am using syslogd under Cygwin on Windows XP to log messages from
some Cisco routers and am happy to test any other proposed patches but
I basically made exactly the same change as Peter proposed and it
seems to be working fine so far.
Thanks,
David
