Fortunately, I think it shouldn't have any harmful effect for the users
if it's implemented all at once.
Let me know what I can do to help (so as not to accidentally duplicate
effort or introduce conflicts). Sorry, I know I haven't been as active
lately; work has been occupying most of my time and energy lately.
We should also consider putting together a snapshot release soon. I
used to do it quarterly and there were people who reported using it.

Genomes are more important. But it would be good if you can test thesnapshot generating script, I tried but didn't get results I expected, notsure I was doing right thing.I will move forward on the other changes and ask you opinion of thembefore commitment.Carl
