On my side, I am testing all GSRC based programs. While you do not have
gnome-2, on my side it recognizes that I have it installed, but on the
other hand the module (gnome gnome) is missing, and I could not find it
in /usr/share/guile-gnome2
checking for guile... /usr/bin/guile
checking for Guile version >= 2.0.11... 2.0.11
checking for guild... /usr/bin/guild
checking for guile-config... /usr/bin/guile-config
checking for Guile site directory... /usr/share/guile/site/2.0
checking for Guile site-ccache directory... /usr/lib
checking if (gnome-2) is available... yes
checking for guile-gnome-2... /usr/bin/guile-gnome-2
checking for Guile-Gnome version >= 2.16.4... 2.16.4
checking for GUILE_GNOME_GLIB... yes
checking for Guile-Gnome directory... /usr/share/guile-gnome-2
checking if (gnome gnome) is available... no
configure: error: required guile-gnome module not found: (gnome gnome)
<DEV> root [ /sources/guile/foliot-0.9.6-beta ]#
But I do have Guile-Gnome directory... /usr/share/guile-gnome-2
