Evalling
(locate-dominating-file "." "Makefile")
I get nil (unless the current directory has the file Makefile in it).
I expected to get some parent directory containing that file.
otoh, evalling:
(locate-dominating-file default-directory "Makefile")
works as expected.
In GNU Emacs 24.3.91.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.24.20)
