bug#15979: 24.3.50; Bad display in *vc-log* buffer

From: Richard Stallman
Subject: bug#15979: 24.3.50; Bad display in *vc-log* buffer
Date: Tue, 26 Nov 2013 10:57:37 -0500

I type C-x v v to commit a change in a CVS-managed file,
and type RET in the *vc-log* buffer. The blank line displays
highlighted like the mode line above it.
