gnus-thread-hide-killed is a variable defined in `gnus-sum.el'.

*If non-nil, hide killed threads automatically.
You can customize this variable.
So it is set. In gnus-sum.el I see
(defcustom gnus-thread-hide-killed t
"*If non-nil, hide killed threads automatically."
:group 'gnus-thread
:type 'boolean)
That means I'm using the default setting. Isn't that supported?
