Hi,

when M-x `edit-abbrevs' is called, it opens the buffer at the beginning.
That's rather not what user may want, as all abbrevs at once will be edited seldom.

Instead edits of current mode abbrevs are to expect.

Therefor here the following function is in use instead:

(defun goto-mode-abbrev-table ()
  " "
  (interactive)
  (save-excursion
    (let ((mat (abbrev-table-name local-abbrev-table)))
      (prepare-abbrev-list-buffer)
      (set-buffer "*Abbrevs*")
      (switch-to-buffer (current-buffer))
      (goto-char (point-min))
      (search-forward (concat "(" (format "%s" mat))))))

Well, quite simple.

Please reflect, if you want to provide such a thing.

Cheers

Andreas
