Hi,

sounds interesting for me, as not just other editors are at stake AFAIU, 
but auto-generated abbrevs produced by programms.

These might be theme-specific, cover items of medicine, jura etc.
Could offer modes with preloaded abbrevs resp. to matter of writing.
