Does this mean Emacs printing has lost face?
Hmmm, no, it was not defined any lost face by Emacs printing. ;-)Well, more seriously, what it is missing by Emacs printing is to handle proportional fonts.
Emacs printing deals with faces but does not handle font-family, width and height attributes.
