I use the ellemtel style too, I added the following to my .emacs file
to restore emacs 21 behaviour.

(defun my-c-mode-common-hook ()
  ;; fix up alignment, got broken in emacs22
  (c-set-offset 'arglist-cont-nonempty '(c-lineup-gcc-asm-reg c-lineup-
arglist)))
(add-hook 'c-mode-common-hook 'my-c-mode-common-hook)
