Wouldnt it be nicer to change it from a defcustom to a system variable that
does reflect the current window manager setting? I dont see much point in
having to do it manually. Since the 'focus-follows-mouse' setting seemingly
can create raise-frame problems, it might be useful to be able to detect it
in the emacs session.
