Excuse me, but what `tirade'?  Richard didn't say `you suck, we won't
fix your problem, ha ha ha', he merely pointed out (as an aside) that,
in the end, everyone is better served by not using windows, and that
it's easy to forget this when thinking about `narrow technical issues.'
