Thank you for your report.

Unfortunately, there's not enough detail in it to understand what
happened.  Please show the _exact_ text of the add-to-list line from
your .emacs, and also please tell in what directoy did you install
NTEmacs and in what directories do you have additional Info files.
Finally, please show the value of Info-default-directory-list in a
running Emacs.
