What does `xlsfonts -fn THAT-FONT-PATTERN' on that machine say? I
guess it tells that that font really doesn't exist. (It's not a font
Emacs uses by default, BTW, so it must have been specified somewhere
on your system.) You could also try to start Emacs with `-fn
FONT-THAT-EXISTS'.
