Occur mode needs gala wrapping for the 90's

Folks,
The major mode is described first.

Occur mode:
Major mode for output from M-x occur.
Move point to one of the items in this buffer, then use
RET to go to the occurrence that the item refers to.
Alternatively, click mouse-2 on an item to go to it.

what? you call that a "major mode"?  Doesn't look too exciting to me.
Firstly, where's that "q"?  Other modes have q.  I typed q and it gave
me that 'buffer is read only' rudeness.  Can I go now?

And like, excuse me, like, compile mode's got
        You can then use the command C-x ` to find the next error message
        and move to the source code that caused it.

I mean, other people have to use this software too, you know. :-)
