20.7: wrong key binding in view mode

Hello,

I notices somewhere after 20.2 the binding for key 'q' in view mode 
does no longer work, although the C-h m still reports it:

q       quit View mode, trying to restore window and buffer to previous 
state.
          q is the normal way to leave view mode.

C-h k q however reports:

q runs the command self-insert-command
   which is an interactive built-in function.

Insert the character you type.
Whichever character you type to run this command is inserted.

(self-insert-command N)


I really strongly would like to have the old handy 'q'uit key.
