Redhat 9.0 and multithreaded application

Hi,
    I am using the GDB5.3 on Redhat 9.0 with kernel - 2.4.20-8 #1
libc2.3.2. My application is multithreaded... and when
i run it using the GDB, i cannot see any threads. I tried the commands
like "info threads" and "thread apply all where"
and none gives any information. Does the GDB 5.3 supports threads on
Redhat9.0?
