It was fantastic – an amazing learning curve.’ That was the overwhelming reaction of members, who travelled from near and far to attend Virtual World Direct’s Business Development Meeting (BDM)at the world renowned Belfry, near Birmingham on Saturday, July 19.

They came from across the UK, Spain, Ireland and even from Perth in Australia.

Karen Hope and Phil Green, who left British shores for warmer climes Down Under some years ago, only joined VWD in May but were among the first to book their places at the Belfry.

After the meeting Phil said: ‘During this one day we have made several friends, who have been very helpful. We feel we’re part of a family and not just a business.

INCENTIVES

The day started with VWD co-founder Tom Brodie extending a warm welcome to everyone.

VWD co-founder Tom Brodie (left), who presented bottles of champagne to (from left): Ray St. Clair, Malcolm Horsey, Ian Orford and Neil Verlander in recognition of their outstanding achievements in sponsoring new members over recent months. Champagne was also presented to Paul Monks and Graham Cox for achieving group growth targets.

He reported on how the business had made incredible progress since its launch last year, explained the various functions and latest enhancements on members’ websites and referred to future developments.

He also announced the launch of SMS (Short Message Service) using mobile phones and two more £1,000 recruitment incentives (see details on this page and page 2).

MORE CHANCES TO WIN £1,000!!
How about this for an incentive? The more people you introduce to the e-Lottery system - the more likely you are to win a £1,000 reward.

Virtual World Direct has just announced two lucrative Grab a Grand incentives which will run over the next seven weeks (19th July –7th September).

TOP RECRUITER

The member who introduces the most new members during this period will receive a £1,000 GBP cash bonus.

MEMBERS’ PRIZE DRAW

All you have to do is introduce five new members to be automatically entered into a draw with a £1,000 GBP prize going to each of two winners.

You can introduce as many members as you want – the more the better. For example, if you introduce 10 you will receive two entries, 15 – three entries, 20 – four entries, and so on. The more members you introduce the greater your chances of winning £1,000 GBP.

The member who introduces the most new members during this period will receive a The draw will take place at the next Business Development Meeting at the Belfry on Sunday, September 14 when the total of £3000 in cash prizes will be handed to the winners of both incentives. The winning draw entries will be picked from a sealed box by a VWD member, observed by other members.

ENTHUSIASTIC

So, this time there will be two Grab a Grand winners. Now’s your chance to be a winner and financially much better off. An overseas winner will recieve their cash prize via telegraphic transfer.

Co-founder Tom Brodie said: ‘We have an enthusiastic membership and this is reflected in the rate of our expansion, especially in recent months. The rewards are a big ‘THANK YOU’ for their much appreciated efforts.’

Congratulations Smada Technical Research on topping the leader table for introducing the most new
members (22) to the e-Lottery system during the last business cycle

Phil Green and Karen Hope, who travelled all the way from Australia.

In 133 Lotto draws so far, there have been 777 VWD syndicate wins, 38,073 individual wins and a total winnings pay out of £228,978.00 GBP ($371,000.00 USD approx.)

Maureen Bell: ‘After the huge success of the last BDM, I’m really looking forward to September 14.’

Paul Monks: ‘Those who were unable to attend the last BDM are strongly advised not to miss the next one.’
KEEPING IN TOUCH WITH TEXT MESSAGES
Text messages via mobile phones are a highly popular and expanding form of communication, simply because it is generally recognised that the vast majority reach and are read more promptly by those who receive them.

SMS (Short Message Service) is based on keeping two-way contact as brief as possible, which means it is more cost-effective and timesaving than voice calls or even e-mails.

IMPORTANT

According to reports, mobile phone users are immediately aware of the arrival of a text message and usually respond very quickly. This is vitally important when an urgent message is sent and a quick reply is requested.

Although e-mails have the advantage of no limit on the extent of content, they may not be accessed for several hours or days. That could pose problems or put the receiver at a disadvantage.

For that and other reasons, Virtual World Direct is taking another significant stride in broadening its communications strategy.

In future, group announcements will not only be distributed through e-mails but also through the mobile phone text message service.

‘Not everyone has a computer,’ explained VWD co-founder Tom Brodie, but a very high percentage of people have mobile phones. We are endeavouring to reach every member and provide them with the best possible service.

‘Text messages will bring another dimension to the way we operate and provide members with even more choice – to decide what’s best for them.’

Many members have already entered their mobile numbers in their website details but many more have submitted inaccurate information. VWD urges you to check and confirm your numbers as soon as possible so that we can keep you informed through SMS.

FIRST BDM

From Page 1

As a technology-driven operation, consistently upgrading systems to keep pace with the latest advances, he added: ‘Virtual World Direct and the internet go together like strawberries and cream.’

The six speakers for the day were Paul Monks, from Lancashire, Maureen Bell, Henley-on-Thames, Ian Orford, Cheshire, Ray St. Clair, Spain, Malcolm Horsey, Gloucestershire, and Neil Verlander, Worcestershire.

They, in turn, focused on their different training strategies and considerable experience in the network marketing industry. Their input was certainly appreciated and applauded.

FANTASTIC

Both Karen Hope and Phil Green described their experience as ‘fantastic and exciting.’ The meeting was ‘super professional,’ and they had taken in an incredible amount of information.
‘Although we haven’t been VWD members for long,’ they pointed out, ‘we are getting responses from around the world and we’ve sponsored people in Australia and the UK. That tells us that this business is going to go straight through the roof.

‘VWD is everything we hoped it would be. It’s great.’
