After installing RedHat 8.0 I had problems for
running
GNOME and it's programs in the Persian (fa_IR.UTF-8)
locale. (The programs couldn't use Bluecurve theme and
Fontconfig program printed some errors).
I found that there is a problem with Farsi decimal
separator, then I changed the fa_IR LC_NUMERIC file
with the en_AU LC_NUMERIC file. Then I executed this
command: "/usr/sbin/build-locale-archive". Now my
GNOME and it's programs run correctly. What was my
problem exactly? Is this problem steel exist?
Thanks,
Hedayat
