In the case of the Mac AppStore or iOS AppStore, the problem of
dependencies is simply solved: there are no dependencies. The software
has to be self contained. I believe it is the same for Android.
This actually remove a large part of the problem, notably the one about
breaking.
(and yeah that yum ask me if I want to intall dependencies is just
ridiculous)
