It's remarkable that the net neutrality issue has gotten such traction in such a short period of time, especially given how little public and industry interest there was for a long time. Don't buy until you've thought it over carefully,.
They were landmarks, as much a part of the landscape as the Statue of Liberty or the Hudson River.
And don't ignore eBay, which may become the NYSE of the Internet economy, the vast transaction-processing engine of an inconceivably massive market.
Has it truly been so long?
They are better off putting their energy into the areas where they dominate. It's worth being reminded from time to time that The Web is People.
One of the things I love about being a sports fan is the communal exhileration you get when the times are good.
The plastic kind, I mean. The phone companies are probably right that local franchise restrictions on video competition should be eliminated, but they'll get there anyway. Don't buy until you've thought it over carefully,. Things go wrong, unexpected expenses overwhelm you, job loss, illness, divorce, accident. That's a key theme of my writings, and of Supernova.
In this model, applications run across a distributed, fluid, globally accessible fabric of resources, rather than a local machine or a remote server farm.
